Meet your Presenters

Vito Giudice

Vito founded ASCENTIUM, providing governance, risk and compliance advice to leading organisations. He is a highly experienced governance, risk management and regulatory compliance professional and has held senior positions including Chief Risk Officer of an Australian insurer and Executive Director of a global Big 4 accounting and advisory firm.

Phil Haultain

Phil joined GRC Solutions after a 4.5 year stint as the Volt Group General Counsel. He has over 35 years banking and finance experience having worked previously at State Bank of NSW, Commonwealth Bank, St George Bank, Challenger Ltd and National Australia Bank.

Phil has expertise in Labour and Employment Law, Corporate Law and Governance, and Banking Law. He has degrees in Law and Economics from the University of Sydney.

Sophie Favelle

Sophie is our Learning and Development Consultant. She has 13 years’ experience in secondary education, specialising in Technology and Applied Studies. In her current role as the Learning & Development Consultant for GRC Solutions, she is tasked with creating rigorous and compelling compliance training for the local government and CHESS sectors.

Kirsten Trott

Kirsten is an experienced Governance, Risk and Compliance professional and trainer. Over her extensive career, Kirsten has moved from practicing law to a variety of roles in Risk and Compliance in the Corporate and Not-For-Profit Sectors in Australia, the United Kingdom and Singapore. Kirsten has particular specialisation and interest in organisational conduct, integrity and whistleblowing. As a trainer, Kirsten draws on her grass roots experience to bring practical and entertaining ‘war stories’ that assist with audience engagement and learning.

Kirsten is the founder of Moken Consulting and RegCoNet, through which she provides Risk, Compliance and Conduct advisory services and training. Kirsten has Masters degrees in Public Policy and Law, and is a Fellow of the Australian Governance Institute.

Bill Tarrant

Bill is our Training Manager – Subject Matter Expert.

Bill spent ten years teaching Philosophy at universities in NSW, and a further ten years managing staff and delivering training in contact centres. For the past 11 years he has been working in the Australian financial services compliance training industry, writing, designing, and delivering specialist and generalist training.
