Description
Breaking down complex international laws which target tax evasion
This course combines material on the US FATCA requirements and the international Common Reporting Standards (CRS), reflecting the fact that these complex areas of law are now one process for frontline staff.
This course empowers customer-facing staff to understand concepts relating to citizenship, visa status and tax residency, identify key requirements under CRS and FATCA laws, and undertake appropriate processes relating to entity and trust accounts.
Foreign Tax Residency has been published in a new and improved interactive visual format using real life scenarios.
There is also a pretesting option available to acknowledge an employee’s pre-existing knowledge in this area, so they move through the course quicker and return to their business-as-usual activities.
Who should do this training?
This training should be completed by all customer-facing staff who are responsible for collecting foreign tax residency information from customers. It is also useful for anyone in your organisation who supervises the collection of this information, and anyone who works in international business or taxation.
