This training details the Tier 2 general insurance obligations set out in Chapter 7 of The Corporations Act and Part 2 Div 2 of the ASIC Act to ensure your advice is of the highest quality.
In this course, learners will investigate the knowledge, skills and legislative obligations required to provide high quality advice when dealing with general insurance products. This course provides an outline of how financial services are regulated in the general insurance sector, followed by an explanation of the various types of general insurance products.
Learners will unpack the differences between factual information, general advice and personal advice. A dedicated module explores the skills required to be an excellent insurance advisor and to ensure compliance with your regulatory obligations when providing financial advice.
