This online training course covers the basicย principles that commonly apply to codes ofย conduct, with a special focus on the financialย services industry in Singapore. The trainingย includes real-life scenarios and engagingย graphics to bring the topic to life.
This course introduces the concept of a code ofย conduct and discusses topics that commonlyย appear in codes of conduct, including: makingย ethical decisions at work based on respect,ย integrity and professionalism; work health andย safety standards; protection of company propertyย and personal information; and the rules relatingย to gifts and conflicts of interest. It also coversย the ethics that apply when providing financialย advice; the key regulators of the financialย services industry; licensing requirements;ย industry bodies; and AML/CTF requirements.
The course also introduces the way specificย codes apply to specific industry sectors inย Singapore. It highlights requirements that theseย codes have in common, and discusses fourย representative examples of these codes.
About the Financial Training Scheme (FTS)
This course is recognised under the Financial Training Scheme (FTS)ย and is eligible for FTS claims subject to all eligibility criteria being met.ย Please note that in no way does this represent an endorsementย of the quality of the training provider and course. Participantsย are advised to assess the suitability of the course and itsย relevance to his/her business activities or job roles.
The FTS is available to eligible entities based on the prevalent fundingย eligibility, quantum and caps.
